02.03.2010 12:59  The Festival will be hosted from 4. to 7. March 2010 in the capital of Latvia – Riga. The first Illusionists Festival enjoyed great success in Latvia and proved to be highly sought. The objectives of the Festival are to develop the art of illusion and to provide new talents with the opportunity to make a significant step in their career. This Festival is peculiar for the competitive program without a jury. The favourite who will be granted the title “Best Illusionist of the Year” will be chosen by illusionists and audience. One more peculiarity and novelty of the Festival is the magic tournament “Illusionist Versus Illusionist” which will be held during gala-dinner. Just 8 illusionists will contend in this tournament, and the winner will be honoured the title “Master”. For the first time ever, the Merlin Award will be given as a competition award on March 4-7, 2010 in Riga, Latvia at The Baltic International Festival of Wonder and Magic "Miraculous Amber". 3 Merlin Awards will be presented by The International Magicians Society. The best illusionists from various countries of the world are invited to participate in Gala Show and this will help to make Festival even more outstanding.
